I know that these mass-emails may be painfully long at times (snooze-ville), but please try to skim this one and rest assured that I will no longer send epic-lengthened emails.

THE BIG PICTURE
Following this email will be an e-invite for the class reunion barbecue with the time and location. It's important that I get a head count of who's coming and if you are bringing guests (ie. spouse, partner, children, family, friends &c.) so that I can plan the food according. Please, respond as soon a possible with a YES or NO and only MAYBE if you truly don't know at this time. If this changes, update your invite status or, if need be, email me directly (give me courtesy to know if your plans change). DO THIS AS SOON A POSSIBLE.
Keep in mind that the BBQ is the main event and it's my hope that we get everyone there regardless of any other events. I've already mentioned that I asked for someone to make a plan for an after event and, this is still planned and there may be still some details to iron-out. At this time, plan to meet on Saturday evening at 9:00p in Las Vegas. I'll confirm this soon and will let you know if any details change and/or alternative events emerge. Thank you for your patience.
Note that I'm asking each classmate to bring a few dollars to cover the cost of having the BBQ - this will likely be $7-$10 per classmate. I won't know the final amount until I get a better head count and after I purchase the food that morning. Unfortunately, we won't likely know until the day of, so plan on $10 per classmate knowing that it will likely be less.
DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF
Next week I'll be soliciting help by contacting everyone to see who can lend/provide various items for the BBQ (like a large water-cooler with lots of ice-water).
THE SMALL STUFF
Also, if anyone would like to solicit classmates to create photo board(s), memory blog, artifacts, time-line, &c. for the class blog/Facebook and possibly for the day of the reunion, let me know and I can set you up. This will be a great project for the blog/Facebook during the next few week leading up to the reunion. I know Stephanie has a little something in mind for the BBQ that'll be fun. and you might have an idea as well.
IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE
Now's the time to make those last-minute calls and stop-by to see those who are not on this email list who may not know all these details. There's plenty of people to seek-out and it's NEVER too late. So check the CLASS LIST to see who's not been contacted. Also, let me know if you've spoken to someone who's not on the contact list and you are aware if they plan to attend.
HOLLA AT ME
If you can't be here and would like to give a shout out to the group, please let me know I'll happily pass the message along. Naturally, you can always comment on Facebook or the class Blog. For instance, Joe Ball sends his wishes from Afghanistan as he is courageously serving our country in the armed forces, and Jordan Adams is sad she can't attend as she will be busy making jump-shots on the Canada's National Womens Basketball Team with prospect of playing in Beijing (of course). So if you can't make it, it'll be great to hear from you.
THAT'S ALL
Please be aware that I may not contact you during this week as I prepare for a grueling professional exam on Saturday. Afterward, you'll hear from me plenty...more than you'll want, I'm sure.
It's exciting to know I'll be seeing many of you so shortly and, call me nostalgic, I have a feeling that being reunited with our friends and peers unto itself will be a success no matter how the events play-out. Yes, I'm a sap.
SEE YOU SOON!!
